Brynle began working in the public health field as a research fellow in systems science at Deakin University in Geelong. This involved spending time working overseas at Harvard Medical School in Boston, New York. Some of Bryn's research informed the GenR8 Change initiative implemented by our own Southern Grampians Shire Council. Brynle then relocated to Portland in South West Victoria where he completed his internship to become a Registered Psychologist. Brynle has experience as a lifeline volunteer and supporting the mental health of a variety of complex mental health presentations in both the public and private mental health field. Brynle has an interest in psychodynamic therapy in treating adults of all ages. Brynle explores the unconscious patterns that can impact on, and impair, our day-to-day emotions and behaviours. He aims to increase self-awareness and understanding of why we do what we do, so that we can move ourselves forward towards change.
Clinical Psychologist, BPsychSc(Hons), MPsych(Clin)
Emma has extensive experience supporting the most vulnerable children and families in our community. This includes working with children in out of home care, implementing the CAMHS and Schools Early Action (CASEA) Program via the Royal Children's Hospital mental health service, and providing formal psychological testing and assessment for children and young people. Emma also has experience working in the public health field in Hamilton as well as the private sector in Melbourne, and is a trained Circle of Security (COS) facilitator. Emma uses a psychodynamic approach when assessing and informing psychological treatment, with a key goal of building an individual's knowledge and expertise about their own mental health and how to navigate the daily challenges life throws our way. Emma also has in interest in supporting both men and women through the perinatal period.
